Moored up at Lymington’s Yacht Haven Marina, our beautiful Tamisa offers a ship-shape escape & serious coastal latitude…

Take your morning coffee with a side of sunshine and Solent views to plot the day’s course- it doesn’t get much better than this! Although she’s a static stay; the world is very much your oyster from our classic beauty; be it by-foot, pedal or paddle.

Below deck you’ll find all you need to make a cuppa, whip up a picnic, or chill a bottle of something refreshing… but the much-loved local bar & restaurant just happens to be steps away if you’re craving something heartier.

After a sunrise wander along the Sea Wall, and a treasure hunt in Lymington’s boutique filled High Street, we’d recommend taking to the waters with a kayak around the bustling Quay. Whatever you plan, there’s no chance of cabin fever- Tamisa is close to it all.

As the night draws in, your cosy cabin is calling, and we can’t think of a more soothing way to fall asleep than to the gentle lull of the sea, and tinkling of masts… what a base. What a place to call home!

Inside

The Rodman 1170 boat model is celebrated for its beamy interior which, together with Tamisa’s top-notch finishing, makes for a fab floating stay!

Whilst the plump saloon seats make you feel right at home, we also love how the sleek wood & neutral palette creates a chic space that’s classically stylish…

The galley kitchen is perfectly practical for rustling up a Ploughman-esque lunch, or a ping & ding supper, with a kettle, mini fridge and microwave at-the-ready. If you are looking for more of a catered affair, The Haven Bar & Restaurant is just a minute away, and Lymington town is full of places to be fed & watered.

When you are ready to hunker down, the Smart TV is primed for Netflix-a-thons, but we’d opt for a game of rummy around the table with something delicious in-hand! Our 2 person guest list means you’ll both have plenty of room to settle in for the night; with a double bed cabin, and a twin bunk cabin to choose from… you are the captains of your own destiny.

Although Tamisa’s washroom boasts both a shower & loo, we recommend heading ashore to use The Yacht Haven’s luxurious showers, where the hairdryers & straighteners are a welcome treat after a day of explorations!

Your sought-after spot in Lymington’s Yacht haven Marina, means you can hop on & off life at sea as you please.

Captain’s rules…

Please note that Tamisa is a static boat, and must remain in her mooring at all times. Guests are only permitted to access the back deck for safety reasons (the front deck, and the top deck are strictly out of bounds).

No shoes please - this is the place to enjoy barefoot boat life!

Although Tamisa has four berths, guest lists are restricted to a two human maximum, for comfort reasons (no dogs at this time either unfortunately).

Whilst you are welcome to use the microwave, the two hobs in the galley kitchen are not for use. Fear not though as you’ll get 10% off food & drinks at The Haven Bar & Restaurant… what a great excuse!

It is worth noting that two of the windows in the main cabin do not have blinds. You may require blackout blinds in summer months, so be sure to pack them if you think this could be an issue for you.

Everybody needs good neighbours… especially when living in such close proximity! Please be a good sport and keep noise to a socially acceptable level.

Location, location, location...

If you are looking for a VIP location to savour the Lymington good life from, this really is it!

The exclusive mooring of Tamisa means that you are mere seconds from enjoying The Sea Wall in all its glory. You can head left into Lymington, or right to wander for a few miles to Keyhaven & Milford on Sea’s beaches; bird & boat watching as you go.

With a fab array of pubs to potter to, The Haven (our fave for views!) happens to be your local…
Head into Lymington High Street to find a buzzy array of shops, & cafés… and yet more pubs… and be sure to plan in a people-watching stop down the cobbles on The Quay.

Lymington Train Station is a stone’s throw from The Quay and will take you straight to the very well-connected station at Brockenhurst, where lots of forest-filled adventures await. You can also take a 2 minute journey in the other direction to the Isle of Wight ferry for a day trip into Yarmouth… adventures await!!

This is just the place to live the Lymington life. The decking feels like paradise found when you take your morning coffee or sundowner there, and Tamisa is a fine vessel inside too!

Perfect for a couples escape to Lymington, there may be no better feeling than waking up amongst the masts, and overlooking The Solent! After a day out wandering the Sea Wall, or exploring Lymington's market town, Tamisa has plenty of space for you both to make yourself at home.
