Holiday Cottages in Fordingbridge

Fordingbridge town is one of Hampshire’s treasures. It straddles the river and there are plenty of wonky brick cottages, quirky village shops, and you don’t have to drive for more than 7 minutes to get into the New Forest National Park for some proper peace and quiet.

It’s all eccentric and bucolic, with wild ponies roaming about where they like (including on the cricket pitches and golf courses), big skies and plenty of fresh air.

Spoil yourself, the foodie options here are brilliant, forest walks, trips to the sandy coast for wild swimming, a great holiday spot.

For water lovers: you’re not far from the coast. You can paddle in the sea in most areas along the New Forest coast, and wild swim in some.

The sea water quality is generally very good. There is little surf here but paddle-boarding, kayaking and sailing are all wonderful.
