The Area-
Lymington is frequently noted in the ‘Top 10 places to live in Britain’ articles in the mainstream British press. The town is a smart, bustly seaside spot with masses going on. There are excellent Saturday markets on the High Street, independent shops, local festivals, sports events and plenty of activities around the area to amuse most people.
Eating out options are numerous and there is still fishing industry that runs out of the town quay.
Walking is lovely from here. Go east along the rural coast which has a wild and agricultural feel with ponies and cattle graze on the beaches. Or walk west from here, along the coastal paths (perfect footing for all ages) and you’ll find masses of yacht marinas, marshes and bird reserve.

The Area-
Burley village is surrounded by the New Forest National Park. The area here is 50% ancient forest with towering trees and 50% heathery heathland. Ponies and cattle live wild in the area and wander the roads and village centre as they wish.
Burley is a particularly eccentric village. It’s famed for its ‘white witch’ and has a Fairy Festival each summer. We love the ice-cream shop, the excellent butcher and first-class deli. The local White Buck pub is well respected for food and drink.
The Burley golf course is one of the oddest in Britain. It sits directly in the National Park and ponies graze the greens, sometimes pigs too.
