NFE is looking for a confident, organised and people-focused Summer Bookings Assistant to join our friendly team during our busy summer season.

This is a great role for someone home from university or looking for a summer job who wants hands-on experience in hospitality, customer service and luxury holiday bookings.

You’ll be right at the heart of the action, supporting our bookings team during our busiest months and helping make sure guests feel looked after from the moment they enquire through to the moment they arrive.

What you’ll be doing

No two days will be the same, but you’ll be:

• • Answering incoming phone calls from guests and potential guests
  • Managing and responding to guest enquiries across multiple inboxes in a friendly, clear and fun tone
  • Helping with booking enquiries, availability questions and local area info
  • Supporting guests with practical questions around logistics, timings and property details
  • Helping the bookings team make sure every stay is set up properly
  • Making sure guests have everything they need before arrival
  • Updating bookings and guest details on our system
  • Supporting the wider team with busy-period admin and cover
  • Occasionally heading out for small errands (post office runs, dropping off property manuals etc.)
  • Creating simple templates, notes or process improvements where helpful
  • Uploading guest reviews to our website

Who we’re looking for

Most importantly, you’re genuinely great with people.

You’ll be confident picking up the phone, speaking to different types of guests, and staying calm, helpful and professional — even when things are busy.

Hours: 20–35 hours per week

And if it works well for the summer on both sides, we’d also be open to extending the role into something more permanent.

Essential requirements

• • • Previous customer-facing experience (hospitality, retail, reception, admin or similar)
    • Confident managing multiple inboxes and staying organised
    • Good knowledge of the local area
    • Available for the full summer season (June or July – September)

Availability

We’re open to discussing both 4-day and 5-day working weeks (Monday–Friday) to find the right fit for both the person and the business. We’re also open to including some weekend working (including Saturdays) where suitable, depending on what you’re looking for.

100% based in our NFE office in Lymington.

Wanted Ongoing: Cleaners

We are looking for hard working, detail oriented cleaners to join our dedicated cleaning team within a 10 mile radius of Lymington.

You need to be reliable, able to work on your own or as part of a team, be flexible and LOVE making a difference. Attention to detail is a must, and a can do, hands on and common sense approach vital. We are proud of our cleaning team and their reputation for consistently high quality work.

You will work under our Property Management team who are responsible for the overall upkeep, maintenance and cleanliness of all our unique and lovely properties.

This job is busier in the holiday weeks, but we can provide regular hours throughout the year.

You must have: your own transport.
