Meet the team

Jane is now our "MD of Everyday Happiness" ...she first joined NFE to support in website marketing, before taking on business admin and then the team management. Her calm and smiley attitude, combined with a deep love of numbers and Microsoft Excel makes her absolutely central to the running of the company!

Our founder and certified "Green Queen" Rachel P is the 3rd generation in her family who have worked in the tourism industry. Rachel made a lot of tea for guests when she was a kid...! Founding New Forest Escapes in 2013, Rachel P is now our 'Ecopreneur', who guides us with all things greener & greater.

Sarah grew up in the New Forest and rode ponies here for her childhood fun. Having moved away for a time she found the call of the Forest too much and has returned to be a local again! Sarah is our "Queen of Office Operations", focusing on enquiries, bookings, office admin and generally keeping things ship-shape.

Susan's our "Escape Artist", working for us in the office helping Sarah with sales and after-sales support. We need people like Susan who are diligent, careful and know the details about our houses. Her knowledge of the area is crucial to her sales role - if guests need information, help with what to do, or book extras for their stay Susan has it covered...

A Lymington local from birth, Harri's our "Guru of Getaways" and really knows her way around the forest. She had a 4 year sojourn in Turkey where she met her husband and worked for a travel agency. She helps the team with bookings, and often fills in the afternoon slot when lots of the team are picking up kids from school and generally life-juggling. If you call after 3pm, it'll likely be Harri that answers...

Rachel is our "House Captain" and wears two badges... Running our pricing system, working with the team to ensure the houses are priced correctly through the year, tailoring for last minute gaps or cancellations. She looks after our existing hosts (keeping them in the know and making sure their home is achieving the goals set) and she also heads up our onboarding team for taking on new homes and hosts.

Emily has worked in marketing for many years, in and around the Forest, and currently lives in Lymington. As our "Ambassador of Buzz" she ably leads our marketing team across all our different channels. With her passion for storytelling and creative inputs you'll find Emily's efforts throughout the public face of NFE...

Lauren joined our marketing team in May 2022 and is our New Forest Escapes ‘Social Butterfly’, she creates gorgeous videos of our unique escapes and delivers our social media content for all platforms. She also can be often found out & about getting gorgeous photos & videos of the New Forest.

Zoe joined our marketing team in June 2022 and is our New Forest Escapes ‘Keeper of Content’, keeping everything and everyone in order in the office. Zoe’s calm & organised energy makes her the perfect person to support the sales & marketing teams.

Owen has worked freelance for us in the background for a number of years as our go-to "Digital & Design Guru"... His blend of creative mindset alongside his design & development skills ensure our web platforms function well and look great too!

Jan heads up The Home Management Company - our house-keeping and property management partner. With years of experience in the industry Jan and her team have brought that level of service, local knowledge and attention to detail that our guests have come to expect.
