What a lovely place to stay. In a perfect location, so comfortable and well equipped. We love the decor. Hayley and Herbert, you are both lovely hosts. This is our second visit to the New Forest and we have now seen most of the area. Visited Burley, Lyndhurst, Christchurch and Lymington. The self-drive boat hire in Christchurch was fun. Lymington fab for shopping, cafes and Saturday market. Mixed weather but we managed one day on the beach at Friars Cliff, there is parking nearby an its lifeguarded. Cottinghams Cafe in Lymington was lovely. We had great meals at the Chequers Inn and The Lighthouse. Thank you for the banana and chocolate loaf, and the biscuits really appreciated.

Lovely holiday and blessed with fantastic weather. Would recommend: Hurst Castle – walk along the spit & ferry; The Gun Inn – pub quizzes & gunpowder chips; Lymington & its Aqua Splashers (for our Gen Z’s!); and of course swimming in the sea. Thanks for a well-equipped and very comfortable flat – much appreciated break.

We’ve had a lovely week in this superb apartment – so comfortable & well-equipped. Thank you for all the goodies you left – they were very much appreciated. Milford-on-Sea is a lovely village with a good range of shops and eating places. The Lighthouse was also an excellent place to eat with friendly staff. Highly recommend The White Buck at Burley. Loved the forest mares and donkeys with foals, delightful. Mouse, JR and Nell loved the beach walks – so did we! Many thanks for a lovely stay

Salt wood exceeded expectations. Spacious accommodation for 6 adults with excellent social space. Very well equipped kitchen. Location perfect for exploring the coast and new forest with plenty of food options within walking distance. Friendly and helpful hosts.

What a lovely place to stay. Great location with everything on our doorstep. A short walk to both the village and the sea front. The flat is beautiful, very thoughtfully designed and we had everything we needed during our stay. Thank you Hayley and Herbert for the cake on arrival, the tips about where to go and a very warm greeting. Olive loved the flat too and had her first encounter with the sea.

We have had a lovely week here, Saltwood is beautifully presented and ideally located. We enjoyed days out at Beaulieu, Hurst Castle and Bucklers Hard as well as a hack in the forest from Coombe stables. The dramatic coast here at Milford and easy reach to sandy beaches also offered good variety. Most importantly, Hayley and Herbert are friendly and helpful with lovely touches such as homemade cakes and activities for the children.

A wonderful place to stay in Milford on Sea, a real hidden jem! Saltwood is the perfect place to experience all that Hampshire has to offer, only a matter of steps from the beach and a short walk & ride to lovely villages and the amazing New Forest. We will be back to explore some more.

A wonderful stay here giving us the break we all wanted. The location is ideal, MoS is a lovely location of shops, cafes and restaurants and to be able to see the sea magical. The accommodation is very well thought out and tasteful great eye for practical design. Now, if we could fix the weather. Thank you so much, we really enjoyed it!

Beautiful property in a fantastic location, close to the beach (we had fantastic weekend) which Hubie loved for walks and swimming. Lovely short walk to village aswell which offers everything you need especially enjoyed a couple of Pimms from the Cave, sat on the green in the evening sun in a social community atmosphere! Will definitely be back. Thank you.

To have the beach at the end of your road like this is quite something! I love how you have the beach in one direction, and the village the other - it's the perfect spot to enjoy all that Milford has to offer! After a day at the beach Saltwood has been set up to make you feel completely settled, welcomed and at home. Happy days at the seaside await!

You definitely feel relaxed and cheery at Saltwood with he pops of colour, custom artwork and cosy furnishings. I love how you'll be reminded of your VIP coastal location with sea glimpses, and you could not be much closer to dipping your toes in if you tried!
