Lauren has lived in the New Forest for 18 years and fell in love with the area as soon as she moved here. She lives in Lymington with her husband and 2 children, Noah & Olivia.

Lauren joined our marketing team in May 2022 and is our New Forest Escapes ‘Social Butterfly’, she creates gorgeous videos of our unique escapes and delivers our social media content for all platforms. She also can be often found out & about getting gorgeous photos & videos of the New Forest.

As well as being our ‘Social Butterfly’, Lauren is also our ‘H&S Ninja’, ensuring the NFE HQ is always on top of the health and safety requirements.

Top route for a morning run?

I love an early morning run along the Lymington Sea Wall, there really is no where more beautiful to run & watch the sunrise.

Top 3, free days out with the kids?

1. We love to head to Woodside Park whatever the weather, with a park, skatepark, tennis court and more, there’s plenty for everyone. We love to explore the Fairy Doors, take our scooters & its the perfect spot to enjoy a picnic with friends & family.

2. In the summer there’s nothing better than heading to the beach & we’re so lucky to have so many beautiful ones to choose from. Avon beach or Mudeford Sandbanks have to be my fave spots to head to. Grab your body boards and spend the day getting your toes sandy.

3. Crabbing – This is one of my children’s favourite things to do in the summer, and our top spots are Lymington Quay or Keyhaven bridge.

Perfect for Paddleboarding?

With out a doubt Keyhaven is the perfect spot, head to Hurst Castle and back, it’s beautiful! And for afters – head to The Gun pub for something yummy!
