Dive into seaside living at its finest. Wake up with a wild swim, wander the coastline, and forage in the foodie village of Milford on Sea… The Pebble Suite is our stylish sojourn that’s just a stone’s throw away… literally just across the road… from beachy bliss.

Designed with a hotel experience in-mind (yes please to the complimentary brekkie hamper!), there’s a boho-chic aesthetic to your coastal bolthole. The owner is globetrotting interior stylist/photographer who has used blue hues & natural textures to echo the wide skies & waters that surround. Small but perfectly formed, our studio-styled space is plenty big enough to call home with a plump bed, sinkable sofa, and hanging chair to curl-up in… just swivel the TV to your chosen destination, and relaaaax!

After a day of alfresco explorations, head back to your sunny garden table with an aperitif to plan your next move by the water feature. No kitchen = just the excuse in our books to sample the MANY great restaurants that surround in Milford’s buzzy village centre (20 mins walk)… Can you hear the ocean calling?

Inside

The mix of inkey blue hues with calming neutrals & rattan accents creates an elevated feel to your boho bolthole, whilst subtle zones amongst the open-plan room offers space to sit & chill.

Taking centre stage, the plush king size bed is like something from a magazine shoot (you can tell the owner has styled high-end glossies), and there's plenty of room around it to make yourself at home. The Designer's Guild sofa is just the spot for natter & nibble... cue the welcome goodies & pop that cork... and we love how you can swivel the large smart TV here to the slumber area if your boxset binge goes into the small hours.

The devil certainly is in the detail here, and Pebble's swanky WC/ shower bathroom homes your waffle robes & slippers .. plus you can keep the mini Molton Brown goodies!!!

Waking up to the soundtrack of seagulls, the nifty little 'larder' section means morning coffee is in easy reach, and you'll also find a breakkie hamper waiting outside your front door each morning. Psssst... the small fridge/ freezer box provides just enough storage for a bottle or two of something + you'll find your chilled hamper goodies residing here too.

If you are looking for an annexe by the seaside that comes with all of the luxe little 'hotel' extras, The Pebble Suite is the place for you!

Your private parking spot is just a few steps from your front door, and with Hordle Cliff's gorgeous beach literally just over the road (and Milford village just a 20 min wander away), The Pebble Suite is perfectly placed for adventure filled days at the New Forest seaside...

At the front of your studio you'll be able to enjoy the sweet sun-trap garden space with its bistro table & chairs that are perfect for morning coffees and sunset sips. There's a lovely sense of calm here, and with its water feature & soundtrack of seagulls, you'll be reminded of your coveted seaside location at all times.

Home truths

Your breakfast will be delivered to your door each morning and will typically include: cold meats & cheese, museli & granola, and freshly-baked mini pastries & sourdough slices. Your host will be in touch upon booking to check on any dietary requirements prior to your stay.

There is no kitchen at The Pebble Suite; but no cooking = a great excuse to explore the foodie village of Milford on Sea in our books!

The lovely Pebble Suite is joined to the (very lovely!) owner's home, and the interlinking door has been locked and even sound-proofed, so you'd never know once inside!

Accessibility

There is a small step to enter the property, but once inside there are no stairs to navigate as the open plan bedroom-living area + bathroom (with its walk in shower) are on one level.

Booking Information

Included in your booking cost are: all bedding and linen, towels for the house, bath robes and slippers. We also supply some treats to get you going for tea when you arrive. Enjoy!

Location, location, location...

We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again (as it’s SUCH a fab location!!), you are only two minutes away from beachy bliss… just hop over the road and head down the steps to arrive at the gorgeous shores of Hordle Cliffs! Paddle, picnic or wild swim here with the beach huts behind you and The Solent in front… paradise.

Wander along the cliff tops into Milford on Sea’s bustling village where you’ll find a veritable feast of fab places to eat (we’d go to Ray’s for a light lunch & Verveine for a VIP supper) and shop indie. You’ll also find paddleboard hire & e-bike hire both a 30 min or so walk away, and we’d definitely recommend trying your hand at both.

If you are looking for history then head to Hurst Castle (stop off at Keyhaven for a pub lunch at The Gun on your way back!), or make sure to spend a day exploring Lymington’s lovely High Street & Quay… there’s too much to talk about!

The Pebble Suite was like a home from home and exceeded our expectations. Location wise it couldn’t be better in our view, only 5 minute walk to the local beach, 20 minutes walk into Milford village through a lovely nature trail and a short drive to Christchurch, Keyhaven and the Forest. Great restaurants within walking distance, Verveine and The Gun were our favourites. Our host Sandra looked after us very well, bringing our breakfast over every morning and always available if we needed anything, nothing was too much trouble. The Suite itself was wonderfully designed, a very comfortable bed and a quiet location We will definitely stay at Pebble Suite again.

It's a one minute walk from the sea with a beautiful beach, and ten minute walk from the local village with a collection of lovely restaurants. Sandra is a brilliant host rightly very proud of Pebble Suite, the provided breakfast in the hamper each morning was delicious containing excellent produce.
