This sauna situated at Lymington’s coastline offers a variety of experiences, including guided sauna rituals and swim & sauna sessions, as well as both private and communal standard sessions. Combine your sauna session with an exhilarating cold-water dip in Lymington’s historic seawater baths to reset your mind and energise your body.

Their luxury handcrafted shepherd’s hut sauna provides a restorative heat experience, with a traditional alder wood interior. The Hello Outdoors sauna seats eight people and has beautiful views of the coastline.

The Retreat

The Retreat in Christchurch offers many opportunities for relaxation, including wood-fired sauna sessions in their wonderful onsite outdoor sauna. The wood-fired sauna is nestled within the grounds of the retreat and can seat four guests in an exclusive booking. The Retreat also offers mud bath ceremonies, massage therapists and sauna master rituals, so you can really make the most of your sessions!

 

The Saltwater Sauna

Situated on Avon Beach, in Christchurch, these two electric Nordic saunas have gorgeous views of the Isle of Wight. Each fitting up to seven people, The Saltwater Saunas provide a unique panoramic beach view experience. They are available for communal or private sessions.

Upon request, there are private guided rituals available, with thermal leaf whisking, aromatherapy, breathwork, body scrubs, and a smoke ritual. Afterwards, you have easy access to the sea if you would like to brave a cold plunge!

 

Slomo Saunas, Christchurch

Located at Elkins Boatyard, Christchurch, the Slomo Saunas pop-up here offers communal and private sessions, as well as curated workshops and sauna master experiences. Nestled between the Avon and Stour rivers, this Nordic-inspired spa is a haven of tranquillity surrounded by water and nature.

Enjoy a woodfired Lithuanian sauna, 7-foot wide ice bath, and two other cold plunges set into a wooden deck – it’s an ideal place for a group or private party!

 

Slomo Saunas, Yarmouth

If you fancy a trip over to the Isle of Wight, then be sure to visit their location at Tapnell Farm, Yarmouth, which features the UK’s original ‘floating sauna’ situated on a lake! The wood-fired Nordic floating sauna provides a unique lake experience and seats four, while their main sauna offers a traditional outdoor sauna session and seats ten. The site also features two hot tubs and a fire pit.

 

Tuhka Talo Saunas

Just north of the New Forest, Tuhka Talo has two outdoor sauna locations, providing a range of relaxing experiences. The Woodland sauna in Fullerton lies within a privately owned wood, providing views of the valley and wildlife. It seats up to 10 people and has a fire pit and events area, as well as a therapy tent and three freshwater baths, making it a good fit for larger groups.

Their Fallen Willow site in Cottonworth boasts two lakeside sauna huts surrounded by willow trees and wildlife, providing cold water therapy from its neighbouring freshwater lake on top of the sauna experience.

 

There are plenty of outdoor saunas in the New Forest area, offering a range of different experiences, from the floating sauna on the lake to beachside saunas boasting incredible coastal views.
