Inside

As soon as you step through the grand entrance hall, be prepared to stop in your tracks. High ceilings, sweeping proportions and an immediate sense of occasion, Efford Park Manor announces itself from the very first moment - whether you are arriving for a family holiday, a wedding, celebration or a corporate retreat.

The heart of the house is the stunning kitchen, complete with an AGA and everything a group could possibly need for communal cooking, morning coffees and late-night gatherings. It flows naturally into the dining room, where a softly glowing chandelier sets the scene for long, leisurely dinners together. There is enough space for the whole group here, and with a private chef available to hire, you do not even have to lift a finger.

When it is time to spread out, you really are spoiled for choice. The drawing room is made for afternoon tea, champagne receptions and easy conversation. The snug is perfect for quieter moments, a good book, a film, a nap on the sofa. The dedicated meeting room is ideal for corporate days, strategy sessions and conferences, while the Den - part cinema room, part party space, part yoga studio, becomes whatever your group needs it to be.

The bedrooms across the main house and Victorian wing are beautifully appointed, with sumptuous bedding and luxurious bathrooms stocked with everything you need. Whether your guests are family, friends, colleagues or a wedding party, little ones are very well catered for too, with flexible sleeping arrangements available throughout.

For those who want to unwind completely, the eight-person sauna adds a genuinely spa-like quality to the stay, whether you are warming up on a crisp winter morning or winding down after a long day. And for those who prefer to keep moving, the fully equipped gym has everything you need, from cardio equipment to weights, with plenty of space to work at your own pace.

The Swimming Pool
The swimming pool is one of the real jewels of Efford Park Manor, private, and available exclusively to your group throughout your stay. Whether it is early-morning lengths, an afternoon splash with the children, or an evening swim under the lights, it is yours to enjoy whenever you like.

The Hot Tub
For something a little more indulgent, the hot tub is the perfect place to unwind after a day exploring the New Forest. Settle in, look out over the grounds and let the evening take care of itself.

The Tennis Court
Challenge another guest to a match on the private tennis court. Rackets and balls available; competitive spirit not included, but strongly encouraged.

Table Tennis

*Please note upon booking that whilst the hot tub is open all-year-round, the pool is only open from May Half Term -September.

Efford Park Manor sleeps up to 25 across 13 bedrooms (plus 3 single sofa beds and 8 single trundle beds catering for an additional 11 children - this must be requested when booking)

The grounds are vast, and the house is grand, so there is a little more walking than at your average cottage! Pack comfortable shoes and embrace it.

Efford Park Manor is not a dog-friendly property. But with a pool, a sauna, a hot tub and 100 acres of grounds, we think you can forgive us.

And finally, the sauna, the pool and the hot tub are not extras. They are the reason people book a second time.
