Needles Point sits right up against the main stretch of Milford’s coast- soaking up THE BEST breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding Solent waters, the Isle Of Wight and the Needles. With its tiled kitchen floor, wooden beams, alfresco terraces and whitewashed exterior, the style here is reminiscent of a traditional Mediterranean Villa – ready to welcome you for relaxed and tranquil sunny stays.

The location could not be better – direct access (50 steps!) to a secluded quiet beach as your ‘back garden’ where you can potter, picnic and swim when the tide is right. There are other beaches, a variety of water activities and an abundance of nature within walking distance in either direction along the seafront. What’s more, you are within minutes on foot to an excellent selection of local pubs, restaurants, eateries and shops along the coastline and in the buzzy village of Milford on Sea, providing just the wind down tonic.

Light, airy and comfortable, Needles Point brings the outside in – from bright sunny days to cosy winter stays, watching the ever changing light across the sea. It is the perfect place to take in the mesmerising views…and relax, the pièce de résistance being location, location, location! Do read our Insiders Guide for the full local download; but expect wild swimming, super-sandcastling, balmy summer nights, snug winter breaks… Oh and did we mention the unrivalled sea views!! Continuing the stunning views, the sitting room enjoys a seascape on two sides; with high ceilings, a bright interior, and deep sofas providing the perfect spot to retreat after a busy day.

Next to the sitting room, the sun-trapped conservatory has a small table (ideal for coffee or cocktails!), with access out onto the terrace.

Both of the larger bedrooms are a great size, with each having fab storage. With a spacious main bathroom in the middle of the house, the back bedroom (the largest of the rooms) also enjoys an en-suite. Whilst ideal for children, the bunk rooms beds are full-sized, so grown-ups can also stay here.

Location, location, location...

As well as having a VIP location on Milford on Sea's coastline (you are literally 50 steps away from dipping your toes in!), Needles Point is perfectly positioned to enjoy adventures on land and in the water...

Plot a potter that suits your family - we recommend a wander along Hordle Cliffs to discover neighbouring beaches, or hitting The Sea Wall to bird & boat watch your way into Lymington (you could also hire an e-bike if you wanted to explore on wheels).

Milford has a great paddleboard and wild swimming community, so you're sure to be in good company whilst you're here! Keyhaven's bustly little marina is a sweet place for paddleboard beginners to get to grips with inflatable fun, and we highly rate a stop at The Gun for afters.

After a day at the beach, head into Milford's bustling village to stock-up or treat yourself (Just 1/2 mile from Needles Point). We always walk away with a full basket after popping in at No. 24 Biscuit House, and a full tummy at after a special seafood dinner at Verveine Fish Market & Restaurant!

Thank you so much for hosting us at your beautiful home in Milford on Sea. The Needle Point panoramic views were absolutely breathtaking, and the ever-changing sea was mesmerising. The house is so well appointed and made the perfect setting for our pre-Christmas break with my mum. the winter cosiness only added to the charm — we loved every moment of our stay. The house truly felt like a family home: peaceful, quiet, and incredibly relaxing. this stay has definitely earned a place in our list of repeat trips. My favourite moments were spent in the conservatory, simply sitting, doing nothing, and soaking in the stunning view of Needle Point. It was pure calm. Beyond location the nearby restaurants within walking distance was a bonus and the thoughtfulness of the host to stock the kitchen with coffee, tea, sugar milk and salt etc. little things whether you need it or not was very kind I’ve stayed at a few Airbnb this is by far the best

We stayed at Needles Point in mid-November to visit our daughter who is studying at a nearby University. The property and its location were just stunning. And despite some heavy rain on our first day the rest of our stay we had (for November) some great weather. The property had all the things you could ever want for a long weekend break. The team at New Forest Escapes were very helpful both in providing advice and information before our stay, checking in during our stay and also returning some lost property post our stay. I can't recommend this property and New Forest Escapes more highly and we'll definitely be looking to stay at Needles Point again in the future.

We all enjoyed our stay. Very relaxing and a fabulous location. Lots of storage space and plenty of comfy seating. Our last day was full of sun! Very nice and spacious.

Annie, David, Ian and Helen October 2025

We had such a lovely stay at Needles Point with our 2 boys and dog. Loved the dramatic sunrise/sunset views and windy walks along the front. Such a cosy retreat with lots of space and everything we needed and a great location to explore The New Forest or potter to some cafes and restaurants. Thank you.

Rebecca, Ben, Leo, Zac and Gus October 2025

We had a fantastic stay. We loved having a BBQ on the terrace over a sunny bank holiday weekend and watching the boats. It was easy to walk to local pubs and restaurants. The kitchen was also really well stocked and beds were comfortable. A lovely place to relax and recharge.

Natasha Robinson August 2025

The house was ideal and provided a good balance of space for a family. the view from the terrace across to the Needles was breathtaking and we enjoyed sitting out there for a sundowner each evening . it was appreciated that the house provided a travel cot and children's cutlery and stair gates, although the one on the terrace needs some additional security as our 2 year old granddaughter had it cracked in about 5 minutes The location was ideal , with the promenade access for biking and push chairs . The house provides easy access to the beach, although there was no sand except at low tide. Happy to recommend to other grandparents and their families

Mickola from Tonbridge August 2025

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and could not have enjoyed better weather. We had a problem with an out of date CO/Gas alarm two nights running which I reported to Claire. I did feel that the accommodation was overburdened with instruction notices - 17 in the kitchen alone! It gives the impression that the owners think that their guests are really stupid as the majority of notices are common sense. Despite the fantastic weather we did not sit outside once because there was no shade provided on either terrace. We appreciate that the sea breeze could be a problem but pointless having facilities that cannot be used. Otherwise all good!

Anthony June 2025

Great position but the patio is very exposed to the wind and there was as always lots of wind. However the patio was very nicely done. The property has 2 bedrooms with a sunroom the other side of the windows and so for privacy the blinds would have to be closed which means they are dark, this is not ideal but the other room was very nice with good en suite shower. The kitchen is very well equipped, lounge and diner are good size and parking is good. Milford is easy walking distance and has most things for everyday shopping plus a great selection of eating places.

Guest from Curbar May 2025

t was just four of us staying at the house and we loved it. Amazing views and location, very comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen (with a lovely welcome present), modern bathrooms and appliances - everything light and airy, tasteful, comfortable and well maintained. Due to the very windy weather, we ended up not spending as much time by the seaside as we had planned, choosing instead to explore the stunning New Forest, which we absolutely loved, particularly the tall trees trail and the arboretum. Some nice restaurants and farm shops nearby!

Claudia from Milton Keynes May 2025

What an amazing 5 days we had staying in this wonderful property. The property was excellently furnished and looking towards the sea was a mindful experience. The location was perfect and close to all amenities. We definitely would think of returning again sometime in the future. Thank you so much.

Vince from Swindon March 2025

Second stay at Needles point love the location and the house is very comfortable, well positioned and very much like a home. Spacious throughout, very clean and well set up for a short or long stay, we love sitting watching in the conservatory after a long long walk

Richard from Wantage February 2025

We had a wonderful time at 4 Needles Point and it was the perfect location for dog and beach walks. The house is situated in a small gated area which means you can walk right onto the coast path from your door, but because there is a gate code, it's very private. Parking outside the property was easy and spacious. The house itself was perfect, although because we were three adults staying, I had the children's room, which was obviously a little of the cramped side and no recommended for tall people who would bang their heads on the bunkbed! I'm sure it would be lovely for children through. The kitchen was beautiful and had everything we needed and the living area and sun room were absolutely gorgeous. We spent most mornings in the sun room watching the sea and the dog walkers and then moved into the cosy living area for the evening. The only minor issues were that the lamp in the children's room had a loose wire so flickered a lot - needs replacing - and the privacy blind, once pulled down, would not go back up. My mum said her shower didn't work on the last night - so not sure if it had fused or if she was just having issues, sadly she only told me on the way out. A wonderful stay - we'd definitely recommend it and would return.

Anon from Liphook February 2025

Fantastic property situated right on the beach in the beautiful town of Milford-on-Sea with wonderful views from the property across the Solent towards the Isles of Wight. The living space is light and airy with a well appointed kitchen and tasteful decor.

Anon December 2024

Absolutely loved this home. Because it really was like home! Modern coastal decor, very warm, cosy and comfortable. Lots of places to sit and admire the view, eat or watch TV. Large dining table right off the kitchen area, kitchen stool seating for those keeping the cook company. Very clean bathrooms and great shower pressure. The kitchen is very well stocked with equipment, really nothing missing at all. We would come again. Thai restaurant in the village is delicious too!

Amanda December 2024

There is nothing wrong with either the house or it's position, any nearer the sea and it would be coming in! The views across the Solent are outstanding along with it's location for the visiting the New Forest and other attractions. It only lets it self down with many notes as to what can and can't be done, along with what lives where, including what colour plates go where, it is all a little over the top considering the rental cost we paid and that was December.

Chris December 2024

Fantastic property situated right on the beach in the beautiful town of Milford-on-Sea with wonderful views from the property across the Solent towards the Isles of Wight. The living space is light and airy with a well appointed kitchen and tasteful decor.

Hay family November 2024

Absolutely lovely, light filled house with well stocked kitchen. Access to beach was great and super views. Perfect for my adult children and granddaughter.

Alex and family November 2024

The location was ideal with fantastic views, whatever the weather. The property had everything we needed and was comfortable & well presented. An added bonus was being able to sit outside in October. We would definitely visit the property again.

Anonymous October 2024

A beautiful spacious house in a stunning seafront location. Very comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, spacious dining room and sitting areas - two inside and two outside. Wonderful views from the top outside area - especially for the glorious sunsets. Very quiet location with private parking for two or even 3 cars, with a walk through the communal grounds on to the coastal path for great walks or runs.

Graham from Slough September 2024

Very comfortable and spotlessly clean property in a quiet location with amazing views over to the needles off the isle of Wight. The facilities are excellent. We could have happily sat in the conservatory or on the outside terraces all week as the sofas in the conservatory and outside lounge set were very relaxing to sit in. It is only a 10 minute stroll into Milford Village Centre that has cafes/restaurants take aways and every kind of food shop you could wish for.

Stephen from Windsor June 2024

Great location on the sea. The house is well equipped with lots of space and the beds comfy. We really enjoyed the raised terrace where we could use the barbecue, eat meals or relax with a view of the sea and the Isle of Wight. A great day trip is the bus ride to Lymington and then the walk back through the marshes along the coast to Milford. The ferry ride out to Hurst Castle from Keyhaven breaks the walk and is worth it for the skipper's banter alone...

Alan from London June 2024

Thank you for a wonderful stay at Needles Point - the perfect way to end the Easter holiday weekend! We've loved the homely feel, sea views from so many windows and the sun trap conservatory. A real winter treat to sit in the warm and watch the sea. Highly recommend The Cave for Tapas and Melleford for lunch.

The Brimble family April 2024

What did you like? Everything! Myself and my two sisters took our 92 year old Mum. We had a wonderful stay and were so lucky with the weather. Could be better? It would be good to show the stairs on the details. Once up the stairs everything is on one level so that worked well for our Mum.

Diane April 2024

We have had an amazing time at Needles Point, the house is lovely with everything we could of wanted. Perfect location! We are very sad to be going home and hope to be back soon. Thank you for having us. We had a lovely family Christmas at the property and it had everything we needed, very well equipped and felt like home from home. The views were spectacular and we loved everything about it We didn’t want to leave Great value for money and definitely want to go back

William and Carolyn Oct 22

The property is in such a lovely location - the views are stunning and it was a real treat getting to look out on such a beautiful scene every day! We really felt we were in a cosy home, with lots of homely touches, almost as though we were staying at a friend's house. The welcome gifts were a lovely touch.

Jennifer Sept 2022

A lovely place with lots of space and just a magnificent panoramic sea view of the Needles. We loved the sun room and outside area, perfect for watching the sunset in the evening or enjoying a morning coffee with a view. We were very comfortable and grateful for the books and toys for our little one. The milk and cake on arrival was a lovely touch and we would love to come back one day.

Amy & family September 2022

Beautiful house in a beautiful location. Lovely to sit out on the terrace watching the sea. All rooms are huge and even better than the photos. Kitchen well stocked with pans, plates, kids plates, kitchen roll, tea bags, coffee, washing up liquid & sponge, washing powder, foil, hand towels etc. A few kids toys, kids and adult books, board games etc. Great walk-in showers with high pressure.

Gemma July 2022

Great location, literally amazing views on the sea front, walking distance to some nice pubs and everything is close proximity. Property is clean and as advertised, the outside patio is simply the best for peace and tranquility. Really enjoyed staying here.

Simon July 2021

An absolutely beautiful house. The location is perfect and the views are breathtaking. A fantastic place to relax, even when the weather isn’t too great. On our arrival Rachel had left us a hand written note and a cake for us to enjoy … a lovely personal touch.

Regina June 2022

We are so thrilled to be welcoming Needles Point as a limited edition within our coastal collection! The stunning views & location really are second-to-none, with the house set-up perfectly for both short seaside breaks & longer stays.
