What we love...

A bubbling hot tub and soft coastal walks right on the doorstep, perfect for wild swims and relaxed days by the water.

Thoughtfully designed by well travelled owners, with sunlit breakfasts, warm shared suppers, and cosy corners to unwind in.

Spacious open plan living for up to 8 guests (plus two little ones), with Little Nye annexe available too if your group needs more room.

With a hot tub, spacious areas for socialising, and soft coastal walks right at your doorstep, Nye Creek is the perfect retreat for fun-soaked days, invigorating wild swims, and relaxed living by the water. Located at the end of a peaceful lane, the shoreline is just a short walk away. The local pub is only a two-minute stroll, while the beach is a gentle ten-minute walk.

Well-travelled owners have thoughtfully created this house. The design reflects sturdy, welcoming spaces perfect for shared meals, sandy feet, and leisurely evenings. Picture sunlit breakfasts on the deck, slow suppers in the warm kitchen-diner, and time spent moving between cosy corners and the open garden.

The Main House offers ample open living space for up to 8 guests (plus two little ones), allowing everyone to relax and move at their own pace. The Garden Annexe, affectionately known as Little Nye, can also be booked alongside the main house by visiting this page.

This private hideaway is ideal for grandparents, teens, or an extra couple seeking a slower start and their own quiet corner.

Guests love how the space naturally brings everyone together while still offering flexibility. It’s large enough to spread out, with numerous pockets of space, but remains deeply inviting for socialising.

Highlights staying at this house and in the local area...

All the essential details.

Here's your full run down of this place, inside and out...

Inside

Walk into the hallway and straight away you'll get an idea of the owners sense of humour in parts of this house. There's a floor to ceiling wall sticker of a Hawaiian island and a cross-trainer fitness machine. Step into the kitchen and you'll get a good slice of 'wow'. There is a wall of glass along the garden and beach side of the house. It allows the lovely fresh beach light to flood into the room.

There is masses of cooking and meal preparation space, and a generous selection of kit for serving meals.

The whole downstairs area is open-plan only excluding the entrance hallway, stairs and utilities room and loo. So behind the main sitting room area, is a second sitting room area, perfect for lounging and playing kids.

There are bi-fold doors out onto the wide deck and garden which make for great indoor-outdoor summer living.

On the second floor are three bedrooms. The Paris bedroom is the largest with views across the fields toward the sea, the balcony here brings the wide skies to you... stunning! The Japanese bedroom is just a wee bit smaller and has the same views, the zip and link bedroom here allows for two full size single beds instead of a super king. The smallest bedroom is the Matisse bedroom.

The 3rd floor has clear views to the sea, the shingle bank and the fields. In quiet weather, you can open the Velux windows to right angles which allows a huge amount of fresh air in. The light floods into this room throughout the day and you can clearly see the stars here at night. There is a large ensuite power shower here.

Outside

The back garden is lovely, there are two decking areas. The main deck extends from the kitchen and has ample space for the big wooden table to fit everyone, and a few visitors, for meals. There is also a hot tub to the right hand side overlooking the garden (please note that there is an additional charge for guests who wish to use the hot tub). The second deck area, is across the lawn and faces the Keyhaven coastal shingle bar. You can't see the sea from here but you can certainly smell the salty air.
GardenGarden
Two decking areas with seating / Hot Tub / Weber small gas BBQ.

Please do use the beach towels provided for garden and beach. The BBQ is stored away from the end of October until the beginning of April. If you would like to use it during this period, please let us know before your stay so we can make it accessible to you.
ParkingParking spaces are allocated as follows, and the owners kindly ask that all guests adhere to this to allow fair access during bookings:

Guests have 2 x allocated spaces. The assigned spaces are; one in front of the main house's front door, and one in the space directly next to it- in the middle of the driveway. Please ensure that you leave enough space in front of Little Nye (the adjoining annexe on the right) for annexe guests to park here.

If you require any additional parking spaces, you can use the handy car park just a minute's wander away, but you will need to pay to park here.

Nye Creek does not currently have EV charging facilities, or access to charge your car from the mains.

Home truths

Nye Creek has room to accommodate 8 adults + 2 babies.

As we change the hot tub water for every booking, if you arrive on a changeover day, it may take till later on your arrival day until the optimum temperature is reached... trust us though, it'll be well worth the wait!

Nye Creek guests have 2 x allocated spaces. Please refer to the 'Parking' section for a breakdown of where to park to avoid any problems during your stay. Pssst... There is also a handy car park just around the corner if you do require more parking, but you will have to pay for this.

For your safety, please do take extra care on the balcony (especially if allowing younger guests out here, who should be supervised at all times) and do not lean on the railings or glass.

The master bedroom ensuite has no door.

There is an extra charge for logs and kindling to burn on the fire (October- March) but feel free to BYO!

Location, location, location...

At the end of your lane you'll find the lovely and boaty port of Keyhaven. Created in 1206, this quaint fishing hamlet is now a base for boat owners and bird watchers. It's a beautiful spot sit, people watch, and call home!

Wander past the crabbing bridge to breakfast at The Lighthouse for laidback meal (check their website for more info on live music events too), and pitch up for a paddle wherever takes your fancy for afters - there's miles of coastline to chose from!

Head to Milford village (just under a mile away) to shop, stock up on supplies, or supper out - it's a lovely, bustling place.

Back in Keyhaven, The Gun pub (one of our faves) has a great beer garden and delicious menu. From The Gun, you can also wander The Sea Wall to another favourite of ours, The Haven, in around 1.5 hours (just under 4 miles). This really is a must in our book as you'll get stunning, nature-filled views on your travels.

After a pit stop overlooking the Sunseekers, head past The Sea Water Baths (a must for those with younger guests in-tow) to Lymington's lovely Quay and High Street (a further 15 minutes walk).
