What we love...
Keyhaven is one of a kind. A tiny fishing hamlet at the edge of the Solent with coastal walks, crabbing, boat trips and brilliant birdwatching all on the doorstep.
Morning coffee on the terrace with field views and nothing but birdsong. It is the kind of thing that makes you want to stay an extra night.
The Gun Inn is one of the best locals in the area, just a short walk away, with seasonal food and a genuinely warm welcome.
Curlew Cottage is a charming two-bedroom cottage set within mature grounds in the utterly unspoilt hamlet of Keyhaven. Sleeping up to four guests, with a sunny terrace overlooking the patio and fields, a well-equipped kitchen-diner, sitting room, and parking for two cars, this is a peaceful and well-positioned retreat for those who want to slow right down. Keyhaven is one of the New Forest’s best kept secrets, sitting at the edge of a calm saltwater lagoon with views across the Solent to the Isle of Wight and Hurst Castle beyond. Sleepy, small and very special.
Curlew Cottage Style
Relaxed, characterful and comfortably appointed. Curlew Cottage has the feel of a proper countryside retreat, with mature grounds that give it a sense of privacy and calm. Light, well laid out and easy to settle into, it is the kind of place that slows you down in the best possible way.
