5 stars. Perfect location, really clean and comfortable for a brilliant stay with a newborn. We’ll definitely be coming back!

The Nest provides a good place to enjoy all the attractions of the New Forest . The friendly owner is nearby and happy to chat about what to do. The accommodation has lots of thoughtful touches to make the stay comfortable. Brockenhurst centre and the open forest are very close by.

Perfect weekend getaway. We loved our time at The Nest, our only regret was not booking another night! Perfect space for 2 people, the place was clean and cosy! The location is so central, only a 5 minute walk away from the high street in one direction and the station in the other direction, parking was super easy too! The bed was a highlight, the mattress was so comfortable, and it was just the perfect cosy space at night to look up at stars through the skylight, and then close the blind for a good nights sleep! We can’t wait to come back to the Nest!

Lovely stay. We had a lovely stay at the Nest, perfect for our needs with a great enclosed garden for our dog. In the heart of Brockenhurst with pubs, shops and restaurants and just a couple of minutes walk, not to mention the wonderful New Forest which was fabulous for long dog walk. Thoroughly enjoyed our break.

We absolutely loved staying at The Nest. It was cosy, private and peaceful and a 2 minute walk to Brockenhurst high street where there are lovely coffee shops, butchers, bakers etc. There are also some lovely pubs just around the corner. The location in the forest is great. We took our dog and had some lovely walks in the forest and the garden was completely secure and dog friendly. The accommodation was beautiful. Clean, spacious and had everything you could need. The wine and chocolate was also a lovely surprise!

The Nest is a great place to stay. very nicely decorated and it's very spacious for two people. The place is really close to the station, the town centre, and the forest. 5 stars.

The Nest certainly has the wow factor when you first walk in. Lots of light and comfort. Extra touches of wine, chocolate and milk were very welcome. Great location to explore the New Forest and the quaint surrounding villages. Everything was made easy by the host including check in and updates. When we return to the new forest, we will definitely come back to the Nest.

Great location in Brockenhurst. We had a lovely couple of nights staying at The Nest, it was really easy to find and the parking was really handy. The location is great, meaning we were able to walk everywhere (shops, restaurants, spa etc). The bed was really comfortable and the shower had great water pressure. It was a little chilly during the stay but the robe that was provided was a nice touch. It was lacking a little in extra touches in the kitchen but is fine for a couple of days away. If you want to listen to music, I'd recommend taking a speaker or something with you as we could only find a few random channels on the TV that could play music. Communication with NFE before was fantastic and we were able to check in early, which was really appreciated.

Beautiful discreet property in perfect location. Everything we and our little dog needed for a break in the New Forest.

Cosy, convenient and comfortable base, 5 stars. The Nest is a well-equipped, comfortable and stylish base for exploring the southern New Forest. Just steps from the train station and village centre (with plenty of shops and places to eat), it's really convenient, and the Christmas tree and other decorations gave it a wonderfully festive feel. It's the ideal spot for a few days'. break.

We decided last minute to spend a couple of days in the New Forest with our dog. Would happily stay at the Nest again. House is comfortable and perfect for two. Good spacious sofa in the lounge so watching tv is comfortable. Location is terrific as you can walk to the village and pubs and restaurants. Nice welcome treats too!

A clean, cosy place, well-decorated and conveniently located near Brockenhurst station. Communications were friendly and clear, and the place was warm even for a cold winter's stay!

We had a lovely stay! A great space for our first trip away with our baby. Great recommendations and booklet to get to know the area prior to check in and we were made to feel very at home once we arrived.

Outstanding location, the decor of The Nest was truly amazing and the welcome pack was very much appreciated. We would thoroughly recommend this accommodation for its tranquility and closeness to the many walks in the Forest and also the close proximity of the railway station - the village itself has two very nice bakeries with two supermarkets and The Foresters pub has excellent meals and is very popular with visitors and locals

The Nest was clean, bright, comfortable and cosy. It is tucked away with a private, secluded garden, which felt safe for our dog, and it was a lovely place to relax after a busy day of walking and site seeing. The location was perfect for trips into the forest, nearby towns and the coast, either by car, train or bicycle. We also enjoyed the convenience of being able to walk to the local tea rooms, cafes, restaurants and pubs, most of which were dog friendly. We would definitely visit again.

This property is in an ideal location within walking distance to the forest (has a useful back gate to the forest edge for morning dog walks), local pubs and restaurants and the centre of Brockenhurst. Lovely welcome goodies. Accommodation perfect size for 2. Would have preferred to have another single arm chair as the snuggle chair not very comfortable for us more mature guests. Bathroom has lovely soap/shower gel from local supplier. Small but useful garden and patio. The kitchen was ample size with tea, coffee, sugar, salt/pepper and cooking oil. There is also a dishwasher and a large fridge freezer. There was no coffee machine as per the property description. The driveway is a little narrow - found it better to reverse in than out! We will certainly be back as we just love this area of the forest.

The nest is a lovely little place, perfect for 2 people. Although it's in someones back garden it's isolated enough that you completely forget about that! The location near to the station is incredibly convenient.

Nice touches on arrival (wine, milk & chocolates). The condition and appearance of the property was good. We had an enjoyable time vising local amenities such as Buckler's Hard and Milford on Sea. There were good local eateries catering for a variety of tastes. There was a large, safe dog friendly garden. There was a long gravel path to the Nest and this could be an issue with a wheelchair or a pram.

5 stars! Great place to stay for a couple - near some lovely walks, the Pig and the property has a very well enclosed garden if you are bringing a 4 legged friend.

The Nest was clean and comfortable, nice private garden and very easy access to the train station and the New Forest. We would stay again. Lymington was 10 minutes on the train, nice walks looking across to the Isle of Wight.

A lovely little stay in beautiful surroundings. The wine, chocolate and homemade muesli was a lovely touch. Would definitely recommend.

The Nest was better than advertised. We felt at home right away and would definitely recommend The Nest to anybody. It's central location and proximity to the train station meant it was the perfect jumping off point for any forest walks we had planned. Not to mention our dog seemed to also enjoy himself. We look forward to coming back one day!

Such a cozy nest. Really enjoyed our short stay in a place that immediately felt familiar, really lovely. Spent a beautiful day walking the tall trees trail and back, relaxing with nature and breathing in the slower pace of things. We enjoyed hiking around Brockenhurst and Italian food at Albero. Cottage was well equipped,clean and welcoming with several extras and treats. Garden areas to sit out in,welcome as very hot during stay. Ten minutes walk to pubs and restaurants, five to shops. Brockenhurst in centre of Forest so easy travelling.

A beautiful hideaway in Brockenhurst, The Nest has everything we needed and a lovely forest feel with a sympathetic colour scheme. Walking along the disused railaway line from Burbush carpark, near Burley to The Old Station Tea rooms at Holmsley. Approx 2 miles each way. We walked the coast path from Lymington with great river views over the Solent - parked and Bath Road car park. One favourite moment was seeing all the wild ponies etc. We visited Beaulieu Motor museum and Bucklers Hard and food at The Snakecatcher in Brockenhurst.

It was great to have a cosy place to come back to after a long day. We didn't have time to explore the New Forest during our stay, but I think we'd both love to come back! The wild horses were a big surprise for us!

Brilliant location, 10 mins from the shops, great choice of eating places and the station. We were visiting family so not so much leisure time. We enjoyed a meal in The Snakecatcher and Commoners for coffee (welcomes dogs and children). Look forward to returning.

What a beautiful little hideaway you have created! It is clean, fresh and airy! Just what we needed. We loved seeing lots of ponies on some of the many walking trails. The ease in which we could communicate with Kristina- who was incredibly accommodating. I think we need to come back to get a better idea, as we weren't here for long... see you soon!

We will be back. Brockenhurst is in the centre of everywhere. Beaulieu is stunning. A light bite on the beach at The Noisy Lobster is one of the best memories. Highcliffe Castle is not too far away. We actually got Chinese on our last night from the village which was really nice.

Wine, chocolate and dog biscuits a lovely touch on arrival. Such a lovely place with an enclosed garden for our dog, Sox. A microwave and TV channels would have been nice. The rotating chair was my favourite seat! Thank you for making our stay so wonderful! We loved the close proximity to the shops, pubs, train station and so many walks, it is hard to pick a favourite. Kristina was very helpful and informative on places to go on walks. We recommend the walk to New Park Manor as a drink stop. Train to Bournemouth and walk across the beach front to Boscombe and then the train back from Pokesdown or Christchurch. The long walk to Rhinefield through the forest was also nice.

A gem of a place to stay. Very well equipped cottage with lots of extras. So peaceful and relaxing. Hope to return. Thank you for the wine and chocolate. We enjoyed exploring the forest and finding sheltered spots to relax away from the heat. Also Hengistbury Head but very expensive to park. We recommend The Huntsman for Dinner and Rhinefield Ornamental Drive for the trees and walks.

Richard and I had a lovely stay at The Nest - its gorgeous and just the right size for 2 people. We were exploring the New Forest and had an event to go to in Bournemouth one night so its really well situated for walking and exploring as well as the train station. Really loved it - thank you.

This was our 2nd visit to your Nest and it was just as fantastic as the 1st time, thank you. Our favourite moments were cycling to Lyndhurst through the forest and via the forde on our return. The Snakecatcher and Rainbow fish bar and exploring more of the local area. We recommend the Greenwood Cafe in Lyndhurst- they have an impressive range of scones and cream teas! Some very new flavours!

The place you have is wonderful, especially the little things that show the love and care you have for it and your guests. The favourite moments of our stay were getting soaked on the Tall Trees 10 mile walk and relaxing on the sofa, warm and cozy. The New Forest is a jewel for everyone.

A wonderful, tranquil home. Lovely little extras like wine, milk, olive oil etc makes all the difference and the perfect comfort touch of a couple of dressing gowns really made our stay perfect. We loved coming home to our 'Nest' after long hours worked at The New Forest Show. Thank you for providing such a level of comfort. We felt right at home in this beautiful, well thought out place and appreciated all the little things- Andrew also became obsessed with the cosy armchair! The favourite moments of our stay were the cycle ride to Beaulieu (although harder than we expected!). We loved that even on a rainy afternoon, we could cuddle up and watch the rain spatter on the skylight- feeling very cosy in this nest. We recommend The Buttery tea rooms- exactly how a small, local tearoom should be- unpretentious and homely! Cyclexperience for bike hire to Beaulieu and the Tall Trees trail.

Lovely place to stay, a home from home. There are nice touches to welcome you and the information and books are fascinating. Our favourite moments are Bolderwood Forest, Marsh walks, Lymington and also local eating establishments.

A wonderful cottage- so much thought and attention to detail. Super relaxing! The favourite moments of our stay: All of it! So much walking, eating and relaxing. It's the perfect place to do all of this and more. There are so many walks around the village. Also Hurst Point, The Huntsman, The Pie, The Buttery for breakfast, all just made a perfect weekend!

We loved meetings with the dogs, donkeys and horses and also people. We recommend a slow walk up the hill inside the cemetery and then a quiet moment in the calm and beautiful St Nicholas Church.

A lovely stay. Felt relaxed as soon as we walked in. Reggie loved the garden and soon became very territorial! We will return. Our favourite moments were relaxing in the garden after a day walking, seeing the ponies roaming at will. We recommend walking to Bolderford Bridge and strolling along the river. We had a fantastic time in this beautiful and very well designed home! Absolutely perfect for a weekend without the kids! Our favourites were 2 long bike rides through the forest and along the coastal path. Plus dinner at The Pig and the lovely walk back. For great bike routes download the free Cyclexperience app- it's brilliant and very easy to follow.

Thank you for the lovely stay. We enjoyed the lovely house and enclosed garden, where Miko had some freedom to run around. It is also a wonderful location which made our stay better and easier to get to places. The favourite moments of our stay were watching Miko splash in the rivers (he avoids water in London) and enjoying the garden reading a book, watching Miko 200m around or snooze in the grass. We recommend the walk to Blackwater from Brockenhurst and the Tall Trees trail. Also Roly's pantry fudge shop in Lymington- absolutely delicious fudge!

Very comfortable stay in the delightful Nest thank you. Great being able to walk a short distance to several eating places and to the station for a trip to Lymington. We recommend Enzee for Italian home-cooked food and live saxophone on every Thursday and only a 3 minute walk away.

5 stars! Property was a real gem with welcoming bottle of wine and chocolate. Every essential were kindly taken care of. The only thing we could of done with was a little more sunshine!

We have already began planning our return trip! Thank you for curating such a comfortable and homely nest. It was just right! We loved cycling 'route 2' from Brockenhurst to Burley. It certainly gave us the fresh air we needed and we met lots of friendly and helpful locals. Lots of foals and Burley is the place to explore. We recommend Enzees at the station for great pasta, Rainbow fish and chips, Nhoon in Burley for coffee and Blackstar records in Lyndhurst for vinyl.

Lovely, warm welcome. The Ornamental Drive and Rhinefield were wonderful by bike. We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed pretty scenery and lovely pubs. The whole area is worth a visit, we wish we had booked for longer but will be back. Thank you!!

Great for a short break. Clean, tidy, well designed- very nice. Thank you, the milk, wine and chocolate was very much appreciated. We loved the walk from Bucklers Hard to Beaulieu, lovely and serene. Also, Exbury Gardens was fab on a very sunny and warm day with shaded areas for the dog. If you have kids or are big kids at heart they have a steam train to enjoy too. We also recommend The Bakehouse (we love a cake!). Thank you, we would love to return.

A really well equipped bolthole for a 3 day break. Our favourite moments were walking through the gorse which is at it's peak right now. Hurst Castle is a very interesting visit (although some of it is closed off due to conservation work) and The Gun Inn is goof for lunch after you visit.

Perfect for our weekend break- a peaceful and lovely garden to spend a sunny Saturday! We have stayed in The New Forest often and Beaulieu is a great day out and a beautiful place. The bottle of wine was very much appreciated, thank you! We recommend The Turfcutters Arms that does a very good breakfast too.

You have created a fabulous hideaway in the centre of Brockenhurst, with everything you need for a perfect stay. Thank you we will definitely be back. We would recommend The Tall Trees trail with a stop off at Rhinefield Hotel for a drink and also a back garden BBQ!

It's a very nice area and we recommend a trip to Lymington for the Saturday market, something for everyone. The Angel & The Blue Pig was a nice pub. We had a stroll around the village and the Foresters Arms was superb, great environment, very friendly and great food, good bus links to and from Lymington/Southampton. Thank you for such a lovely and warming stay! Perfect location and despite the weather, lovely long walks. The walk around the Lymington Nature Reserve is perfect for a long walk around the coast and a stop off at the dog friendly, Ship Inn for a well deserved drink. We recommend dinner at The Pig and The Huntsman also the Pig brewery. Walks around Lymington Nature reserve and also the Tall Trees trail.

The Nest is perfect, thank you Kristina it was lovely to meet you today. The property was very quiet, clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We will definitley be back. We explored the New Forest by bike, there is a very good bike hire shop by the train station in Brockenhurst. We did 35km and it was a great way to explore the beautiful areas. Stopped off at Noohn in Burley for a tasty sandwich. We recommend The Bakehouse in Brockenhurst for tasty treats, Albero Italian restaurant for dinner, Blackwater Arboretum to see giant sequoia trees and Cycle Experience bike hire.

Warm, high spec, comfortable with all the little extra thoughtful touches. 22km hike to Lyndhurst and back yesterday and 8km look with our daughter on Sunday. We recommend The Pig for dinner, The Huntsman pub - we went there twice, The Buttery for coffee - you can walk anywhere :)

I love the connection to nature at The Nest, and the way you can still enjoy the wide skies & fresher when back home. The bedroom here was one of my favourite bits too, and I can't think of a cosier place to hunker down in after a day of being out & about exploring Brockenhurst!

I love how you can get off the beaten track an out into he open forest in just a minute or two from The Nest's back gate! The walks around here so scenic, and never disappoint! Brockenhurst is also the best place to spot New Forest ponies & donkeys, they are always meandering around- even in the High Street!
