With impeccable interiors & wide-sky-wanderlust both competing for your attention (don’t worry as the vaulted kitchen-diner provides just the space to soak it all up); open the doors to keep the birdsong, fresh air, and fizz flowing!

As the swim spa’s azure waters tempt you to explore the oasis outside, the gorgeous living areas and bedrooms (including the master with THAT dressing room, and the separate garden room annexe) are on-hand for R&R when you’re ready. The luxe aesthetic throughout gives us Hamptons-meets-Scandi vibes; with wooden panelling, calming colours & top-spec finishes making every room feel special. From the nifty home-working space, to the the utility/boot room of dreams, your home-from-home is styled to absolute perfection.

If you can bear to leave your 1/2 acre slice of countryside heaven; a private woodland awaits your discovery (how many people can say that?), where you can wander to reach Beaulieu’s picture-postcard village the VIP way. For adventures a little further afield, walk to Bucklers Hard in an hour, take a short drive to our fave ‘wild’ beach, or book a 5 star pamper at Limewood… But, with such a special space to call home, we really wouldn’t blame you if you simply chose to hunker down ‘in the Hampton’s’!

Inside

Three levels of luxe living await at Moonwood, with each floor revealing yet more sleek, chic and high-end detailing...

The show-stopping kitchen-diner is sure to WOW as, under the vaulted ceiling, this light-filled space blends indoor/outdoor living to a T (ebb & flow as you see fit).

With a sprawling island to inspire chatter as you chop, this space really wouldn't be out of place on a glossy's front cover. Whatever's on the menu, the dining room's grand table provides just the spot to feast... but of course, there's also the alfresco set-up to consider...

A pre-supper cat nap in the snug would be high on our agenda, but we'd equally look forward to canapés & drinks by the fire- returning for movies and games later on (you'll find Sky in both rooms). There is not one corner here that isn't utterly gorgeous - the attention to detail is a designer's dream.

With a super-swish garden annexe outside, the remaining 4 rooms are spread out over the 1st & 2nd floors... Wherever you lay your hat, you'll all bed-down in style; but the first floor's stunning four-poster room, and master with adjoining dressing room, both stole our hearts in equal measures. Past the office nook, the top floor is home to two more bedrooms & a family bathroom- each echoing the Hampton's vibe that makes this home so special.

Outside

Nestled under a canopy of tall trees; fencing & mature planting creates a well-enclosed area around your 1/2 acre grounds- making it perfect for little ones & four-legged ones to safely explore.

With plenty of room for cars to park on the gated-driveway, amongst Moonwood's ample outdoor space you'll find a grassy section - great for garden games, a courtyard area - we'll take our morning coffee here please; and of course, 'the oasis'...

Adjoining the kitchen-diner, the leafy oasis (as we have coined it) features a *6m swim-spa-jacuzzi pool, sun loungers, a large garden table, pizza oven, and a huge sofa. This area brings a taste of old town Ibiza cool to the countryside where swims, sips & star gazing are all on offer. You'll also find the super-swish garden annexe out here, which offers a gorgeous ground floor option for guests that's complete with shower en-suit & its own little coffee station!

Your sought-after Beaulieu postcode, also means that you can follow the lane (or the pheasants!) to explore the woodlands at the end of your lane... how VIP can you get!

*The swim spa is set to a nice, warm temperature. Measuring 6m long x 2.28m wide, the pool is 1.26 m deep, and features turbo swim jets + two seats... perfection!

Vehicle charging is possible via the mains electricity in the property. At the time of booking, you will be required to select how many electric vehicles you will be charging during your stay; as a £35 surcharge is applicable for each EV car per booking. Please only use the external plug point and bring your own charging cables.

Home truths

There is an extra charge for logs and kindling to burn on the fire (October- March) but feel free to BYO!

Please be aware that you will need to sign a safety waiver upon booking.

The garden annexe provides a fab space for guests requiring a ground floor option with room for 2 and an en-suite in here.

Just wow - hidden amongst the tall trees, your secluded location gives you the best of both worlds; as you can hide away, or head out to explore Beaulieu and its surrounding area...

With the most beautiful 'High Street' (+ Beaulieu's well-loved Palace House & Motor museum) just under a mile away- stock up at Bellard & Brown's, grab a coffee at Steff's Kitchen, or eat out at The Montague Arms.

A short drive or walk away (6 mins by car or an hour on foot) you'll find the sweet 'village' of Bucklers Hard. Steeped in maritime history, visit the museum, soak up the scenery (spot the seals if you can!) or re-fuel at The Master Builder's bar.

For more fresh air days out, Exbury Gardens is only a few miles away and has stunning grounds to explore + Lepe Beach (a few miles farther on) boasts a brill play park + coastline to explore.

Every Saturday, the Georgian town of Lymington, hosts a fab market where there are lots of stalls to weave in and out from whilst you stop off to explore cafés, shops & boutiques along the way.

Moonwood House - what a find. We have just loved every moment of our 10 days in this truly stunning and very lovable home. Three generations together and making some very precious moments for us to cherish. Thank you for creating such an outstanding home and making it available for us to enjoy. What a lovely house, beautifully designed, fresh and clean. We were a family of eight ranging in age from 7 years’ old to 70. We loved having the snug for the kids and the sitting room for the grown ups, each with big TVs. The wood burning stove was lovely and warm. We used the hydro pool multiple times a day and there was space for us all to be in there together. There are lots of nice walks nearby, our kids were over the moon at seeing donkeys and ponies, and we had a few nice meals in Beaulieu. The Pig is 15 mins up the road and we spent a long afternoon at the Beaulieu tourist site which has a few things to keep the whole family busy and you pay one entry fee to access stately home, Motor Museum, adventure playground.

What a wonderful week at Moonwood House!! We recommend - Beaulieu - Walk to Bucklers Hard and easy walk on made up paths - Moors Valley Country Park, fun for all the family - Beaulieu Farmers Market, great produce - Royal Oak, great food and service - Bellard and Brown in Beauliey, good for breakfast - Hythe Pier, a little railway and trips to Southampton. Perfect place for a family celebration.

I absolutely loved staying in this massive house (it was very neat), I cannot believe it had 5 bedrooms! The swimspa was lovely and we would recommend going to Lymington, Lyndhurst, New Milton and Beaulieu. We loved seeing the horses, donkeys and cows in Beaulieu and also a gift shop called Norris and the bookshops. Our dog Ronnie loved the massive garden and he enjoyed going out everyday to different shops and restaurants. Also you can go to The Bakehouse that has cakes and next door is a sweet and chocolate shop that we used too. From Heidi aged 10, Jessica age 12, also mummy and daddy and Ronnie.

We have very much enjoyed our stay here, what a beautiful and comfortable house. The swim spa is lovely as are the outdoor areas and planting. We recommend - Beaulieu Bakehouse in the village and 'The Bakehouse Big Boy' breakfast sandwich, swimming at Lepe beach - though don't go too late as the car park gets very busy, the walk from Milford on Sea to Hurst Castle along the spit and the ferry back, for a special occasion Harnett & Hodder at Limewood Hotel was delicious in relaxed surroundings, Farm Shop is good for bread, meat and all sorts - we got BBQ supplies here. Thank you for a lovely and relaxing stay.

What a find - our newest, favorite big house in the country is just WOW. Alfresco dining, the glistening pool, and a gorgeous terrace are just a few of the extras that make it perfect for pow-wows with your favourite gang. It's nestled in the woods on the outskirts of the picture-perfect village of Beaulieu with open forest and the meandering Beaulieu River just a short amble away - sea, beaches, and Exubury Gardens on the doorstep too. Get in the queue and be prepared to be dazzled, it's going to hit the spot!

The level of attention and finishing touches throughout Moonwood House is second to none; especially in the gorgeous kitchen, which stole the show for me!
